REX APIUM

The white masterpiece of Irpinia. Rex Apium is a cru obtained exclusively with grapes from a single vineyard located in the Lapio area, vinified according to tradition without cuts and half measures.

Fiano di Avellino DOCG area. Municipality of Lapio 500 meters above sea level.

Vinification

Selection of grapes in the vineyard and in the cellar. Soft pressing, fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature. Fermentation in steel is followed by an elevage on noble lees regularly resuspended in wine for about six months. The refinement continues for another eight months in American oak tonneaux. Resting in the bottle for at least 12 months before being sold.

Organoleptic Description

REX APIUM, is a refined interpretation of Fiano which presents itself to the eye with a beautiful brightness, yellow color and greenish reflections. The nose develops clear aromas of ripe fruit and toasted hazelnuts. With a dense structure, the taste reveals clear citrus and exotic aromas, combined with a light mineral root The acidity is that of a miraculously balanced Fiano.

Gastronomin Suggestion

Precious with shellfish, seafood and fish, it also goes perfectly with cured meats, cheeses, burrata and buffalo mozzarella.
